Cutting Lotion Method
Cutting Lotion Method
Predictable slip. Clean lines. No buildup.
The Cutting Lotion Method creates clean, controlled movement during cutting by adding slip, moisture, and manageability — without weight, residue, or product film.
It improves cutting precision, enhances client experience, and reduces friction on fragile or textured hair. Two pumps of Atomic and a spray bottle of water do the work of three different products.
Six steps. Two products. Every cut.
Use Pure Detox Clarifying Shampoo to remove obstacles to clean cutting.

The two-bottle technique you’ll use every day.
- The cutting lotion creates predictable slip without compromising natural movement.
- More Atomic = more conditioning for coarse or curly hair.
- Less Atomic = lightweight prep for fine or low-density hair.
- Reduces friction and cuticle stress during cutting work.
- Replace conventional cutting lotions entirely — no residue, no buildup, no weight.
Two products. Every cut. Better lines.
